Tonight Matthew I'm Going To Be With Jesus; Half Man Half Biscuit
Jerry and Biscuit need a home…
Published by Carole | Filed under Advice, Animals
OK I’ll admit it right now. Yes I adore dogs, and yes I cry at all the ones that appear on tv. But I am a girl, so it’s allowed!
Whilst browsing online I noticed that the Norwich Evening News published a story which definitely brought a lump to my throat. Two dogs recently appeared on the Paul O’Grady show and he appealed for a new home for them both. The PAWS centre in Norwich have been inundated with positive responses and enquiries about the dogs all because of this show. However the people who rang up PAWS did not realise the dogs have to go to the same home. You see, Biscuit was born with cataracts so is virtually blind and depends on the other dog called Jerry, as her sight dog. Bless.
Biscuit is a 4yr old Staffordshire Bull terrier and Jerry is a 5yr old Jack Russell terrier. Apparently Jerry likes to keep an eye on where Biscuit is, but she really does get around quite well. Despite her bumping into things now and then, when she’s out walking she stops to check you are still there and when you touch her with your hand or leg she carries on.
If you want to read more about these two, then go to the Norwich Evening News website, you can also find out more information about these two dogs and how you can help both them and their animal care team.
