Tonight Matthew I'm Going To Be With Jesus; Half Man Half Biscuit
flowercarole.com on the BBC
Published by Carole | Filed under Smoothie, flowercarole.com
Recently on a BBC programme called ‘The One Show’ there was a feature about smoothies and the possible affects they may have on your teeth. They said that problems arise from the high acidic content found in most fruits, therefore pure fruit smoothies have a high level of fructose (or otherwise known as sugar) in them. However, despite the negative comments from the presenter of the show, it was pleasing to watch as the spokesman from Innocent stood up for all us smoothie lovers and gave them the nutritional information on exactly what can be found in a smoothie. They are definitely not as bad as the show made out to be.
Another pleasing sight was that the comments left on the BBC website regarding this particular show. These positive comments from the public show that all were in favour of the smoothie, and as one gentleman quite rightly pointed out “If children’s drinks were made with fructose rather than sucrose we would have fewer hyperactive children! And less tendency to diabetes”.
One thing that our readers did notice on the BBC site was that flowercarole.com was listed in their ‘web links’ section, which we were glad to see.
